Pittsburgh is located in Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Pittsburgh consists of 89 vibrant neighborhoods, with its compact Downtown area as the commercial epicenter.

Downtown Pittsburgh is situated between the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River, whose joining creates the Ohio River. This triangle formation is where Downtown Pittsburgh gets its nickname, “The Golden Triangle.”
The three rivers create more than 38 miles of downtown shoreline for recreation, boating and fishing.

Downtown has 18 bridges located within it.
This former steel town is also known as Bridge City or “The City of Bridges.”

Besides the new Convention Center, several other Pittsburgh-region buildings are certified green buildings. In fact, the US Green Building Council, which has oversight of the national certification program, points to this region as having the largest concentration of green buildings in the country!
