Date: Mon, March 15th 2010 - Fri, March 19th 2010
Time: See description for times
Venue: Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership
As part of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Day” 2010, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) will hold a week-long sweater drive, collecting gently used men’s, women’s and children’s sweaters to distribute to local organizations who help those in need in our neighborhood. Sweaters will also be used through the PDP's existing homeless outreach efforts.
The sweater drive will take place inside the PDP office at 925 Liberty Avenue, Monday, March 15 – Friday, March 19. Sweaters will be accepted during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tell your friends and family and help us give a warm sweater to someone less fortunate in our neighborhood. March 20 has officially become an annual national event, celebrating Mister Rogers' birthday and his deep appreciation for what it means to be a caring neighbor.
