“Thanks for Shopping Market Square!”
Market Square Marketing Blitz

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) is running a cross-media campaign to thank people for shopping at Market Square merchants and encourage increased shopping during a challenging time by providing monetary incentives to people who patronize Market Square establishments.

How the campaign will work:

• The campaign will run March 1 - 31 at Market Square establishments
• Marketing outlets will include: PDP Website, weekly e-newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, Market Square Blog, and press releases

Two ways to win each week:
 - Raffle
 - Best photo contest

- Winners will receive a gift card to a Market Square merchant of their choice (two winners per week)

"Thanks for Shopping" Raffle - $25 gift card

1) Make a purchase – purchases can be made at any Market Square establishment.

2) Complete a form – forms will be provided on Market Square notepads at each cashier area; forms will be placed in the marked raffle box.

3) Winner announced – every Monday in March, the PDP will collect forms from each venue and randomly choose a name. Winners will be notified and their prize will be mailed.

Creative Photo Contest - $25 gift card and exposure on the PDP’s social media outlets

1) Make a purchase – purchases can be made at any Market Square establishment (a complete list of merchants will be provided on PDP Website).

2) Take a photo – photo must include: product, bumper sticker and you! Market Square bumper stickers will be available for free at each location. For example: a photo of you with a Primanti’s sandwich, coffee from Starbucks, or a photo with your hair stylist at Denham & Company.

 3) Submit a photo  - photos will be accepted via e-mail at PDP@DowntownPittsburgh.com.

* Photos will be accepted Monday – Thursday every week.

4) Vote - voting will take place Friday - Sunday via the PDP’s Facebook page. A photo album will be labeled for each week’s contest. Use the “like” option under each photo to vote for your favorite photo.
