2009 Farmers Market & Concerts

The best market Downtown. With hot pierogies, fresh flowers, berries, baked goods, and over 50 varieties of produce, this market has it all! New this year… pastas and smoked meats. The Farmers Market is programmed by Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), in conjunction with the lunchtime concerts.

Farmers Market Over for the Season

Thanks to everyone for coming out to support the wonderful farmers and vendors this season at our temporary location at Gateway Center. And, thanks to the folks at Gateway for providing the great space! Tell your friends and family and help spread the word about the Best Farmers Market in Pittsburgh (voted 2009 Parent's Pick). Details about the 2010 market will be posted in early spring so stay tuned!


Farmers Market Raffle Promotion

Throughout the month of October, we held a raffle promotion during the Farmers Market. Patrons who purchased items from the market received a ticket to win a gift certificate to various Market Square and Buy Fresh, Buy Local restaurants Downtown. At the end of each market day, two winners were chosen.

Rivers Casinio Thursday Noon Concerts

Concerts are over for the season. We hope you enjoyed this summer's great performers - we look forward to seeing you next summer!

Nothing says summer in Pittsburgh like outdoor concerts. This year Star 100.7 and KDKA Radio present Downtown’s best lunchtime concerts with all your favorite performers. The concerts are programmed in conjunction with the Thursday Farmers Market.
