Tour Highlights Residential Properties and Downtown Restaurants
PITTSBURGH, PA —Downtown living and all you’ve ever wanted to know about urban dwellers will be exposed on Wednesday, May 21 from 5:30 – 11 p.m. during the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s (PDP) Fifth Annual Walk and Dine: a downtown living tour. Attendees will go on a guided tour of five residential properties and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages at each stop, compliments of a Downtown restaurant. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 1, and are $60. Those interested in something extra special, can sign up for the VIP Tour for $150.
Walk and Dine: a downtown living tour is produced by the Pittsburgh Downtown Neighborhood Association (PDNA), the PDP and the Event Group. Sponsors include Dollar Bank, One Oxford Centre, The Rivers Club and Regency. The tour begins at 5:30 with an opening cocktail reception at One Oxford Centre. Buses will transport event guests from the opening reception to each tour site and back to One Oxford Centre for the closing party with desserts, coffee and liquors.
Tour destinations and restaurants
A new tour stop this year is Rosebud Fine Food Market and Deli, Downtown’s grocery store. Participants will tour the store and enjoy refreshments prepared from its catering menu.
Experience Downtown Living as a VIP
The VIP tour begins at 5 p.m. and guests will travel by limousine with a local celebrity as their guide who will provide them with the inside scoop on what is happening Downtown. A catered champagne reception at an elite private residence Downtown will round out the evening and guests will take home special gift bags filled with exclusive items from Downtown stores.
