PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ¯ Downtown Pittsburgh's newest grocery store held a grand opening celebration today.

The Rosebud Fine Food Market and Deli officially opened at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard at 10 a.m.

It is located in the Encore on Seventh apartment building.

It marks the first time in 14 years that a grocery store is located in downtown Pittsburgh.

Rosebud is not exactly a typical supermarket but they do promise that they are going to have all of the basics for those who live in downtown Pittsburgh.

The company says they will have all of the basics like milk, butter, oil and cleaning supplies.

Rosebud Fine Food Market and Deli will be open seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl attended the event and praised the store's opening to serve the city's growing downtown population.

If you are worried about parking, there's no need to worry.

A parking lot across the street offers free parking for 20 minutes for Rosebud customers.
