Market Square to Host Berry Festival This Sunday

Berry Festival Part of the Downtown Tour of Pennsylvania Bike Race Celebration

PITTSBURGH, PA-- This Sunday, Downtown will welcome as many as 75,000 people for the American Eagle Outfitters Tour of Pennsylvania Bike Race. As part of this signature Pittsburgh 250 event, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership is hosting a Berry Festival in Market Square. Sand Hill Berries brings their berry-delicious collection of berries, pies, jams and wine to the celebration.

Festival activities include pie-eating contests, food and drink samplings, berry-themed games, prizes, music, the Pittsburgh Chess Club, children’s crafts and activities. The event will be held from 2 – 7:30 p.m. this Sunday, June 29 right in the heart of Downtown—Market Square. Come celebrate the fruits of summer and bring your friends and family.
