Midday Liberty Avenue Detour this Week

A portion of Liberty Avenue will be shut down during the midday hours for three days starting Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The open inbound lane of Liberty Avenue will close between Stanwix Street and the parking garage situated between Commonwealth Place and Stanwix. Motorists still will be able to use the garage during work, which is scheduled between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The closing is due to ongoing construction work at the site of the new Gateway T Station.
