Pittsburgh Business Times: Mike Edwards Resigns as CEO of Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership

Mike Edwards, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, has resigned, effective Feb. 12, in order to move back to Spokane, Wash., where he lived when the PDP hired him five years ago.

Edwards said he has taken a contract position with the City of Spokane to work on a project to help improve the city’s business development efforts and establish a one-stop shop for development issues. While in Pittsburgh, Edwards maintained a home in Spokane, where his wife works as a lawyer.
