Post-Gazette: Downtown Pittsburgh a magnet for new restaurants

You shouldn't have much of a problem finding a place to eat Downtown these days.
New restaurants are popping up all over the place, a surge attributed in part to Downtown's office, residential and student growth and the deals landlords are willing to offer to fill vacant space.
"Downtown is hot right now," said David Glickman, vice president of the Grubb & Ellis Retail Group.
Recent restaurant openings have included the Penn Avenue Fish Co. on Forbes Avenue, Nathan's Famous hot dogs on Wood Street, Elements Contemporary Cuisine in Gateway Center, Habitat in the Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel on Fifth Avenue and the Sharp Edge Bistro on Penn Avenue.
