The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership announced a new president to replace Michael Edwards, who left the organization in December.
Jeremy Waldrup, a 35-year-old New Yorker, will assume the partnership post on May 16. For the past seven years, he has held various positions with New York's Department of Small Business Services, most recently as assistant commissioner of district development. Waldrup also oversaw seven business-support centers from 2004 to 2007. He, his wife Wesley and their two children will be moving to Pittsburgh from their home in Brooklyn, the partnership said.
