When the PDP first got word that Spencer Warren wanted to open a holiday themed cocktail bar concept that was originally born in NYC, we knew it had to be located in Downtown Pittsburgh. If there are two things we like, its pop ups and the Holiday Season.
Miracle on Liberty opened the day after Thanksgiving to eager crowds waiting to see the cozy space at 539 Liberty Avenue. The interior is decorated from floor to ceiling (and then some) with anything holiday related from upside-down trees, many forms of Kris Kringle himself, and even a Hanukah wall.
Cocktail names are as delicious as the drinks themselves. Brazen Blitzen, Muletide, Christmapolitan, Snowball Old Fashioned (with a real snow ball). There’s a good chance you’ll be drinking out of a Santa Claus mug saying Yippie Ki Yay. Spencer introduced snack items on Friday. Go in and try one of Mom’s Bologna Sammiches.
Miracle on Liberty opens at 4:00 p.m. and is open through the holiday season. Be sure to check it out while you can and when you do thank Spencer and his team for bringing Downtown a Miracle this year.
